 Nitron claimed their second F3 victory at Snetterton this weekend, the win was the first for British driver Riki Christodoulou. 'Christo' made the step up from Formula Renault with Fortec last year. For a full report please click here. The Fortec cars use six of Nitron's NTF Pro Series dampers per car. The fronts run 1-way adjustable units, the rears use 3-ways, and the car also runs two extra 1-way dampers as 'third elements', these are used in conjunction with the anti-roll bars to control the body roll. In Formula 3 the teams have few restrictions on chassis development which encourages design and innovation to gain crucial tenths in such a tight Formula. Nitron have been working closely with Fortec over the closed season to develop the effectiveness of their third element damper arrangement.
